2017 Review

2017 Review

2017 has been a crazy whirlwind for Dark Thorn Clothing. From opening my first pop up shop and being invited to participate in Paris Fashion Week, but at the end of the day I couldn't have done it without you. I started off the year with a collaboration with Colour Cosmetica and Next Models Australia to promote the Colour Cosmetica Studio stocking Dark Thorn Clothing. Unfortunately I had to decline as I was already in the UK, I didn't have the money to spare and it was just simply too late notice. I also take design inspiration from beautiful architecture and royal periods of time (eg, The Victorian Era) so the United Kingdom is quite fitting. By putting myself directly in the centre of royalty by visiting palaces, castles and cathedrals, I was overwhelmed by the powerful jolts of inspiration. I saw a few pieces of Queen Victoria's possessions and clothing at Kensington Palace, Mary Queen of Scots official and original Queen Chambers at the Palace of Holyroodhouse and King Henry VIII's armour...
