The Dark Thorn Clothing's pop-up showroom opened up with a bang, quite literally. Champagne and custom cupcakes were served to all VIP guests on the 24th of February to celebrate the opening of the pop-up store located on Level one, Adelaide Central Plaza, Rundle Mall. The Labels Style Markets were held again on the 5th of February 2017 and this was the second Labels Style Markets I had attended with Dark Thorn Clothing.It was held at Plant 4 Bowden, a newly renovated warehouse that provided the perfect setting for this market. On the 1st of December we hosted a VIP media night at The Curious Squire to showcase Dark Thorn Clothing's Rebirth and New Moon collections. Between 6:30pm and 8:30pm media, bloggers and public figures came in and out to celebrate and see the garments modelled on 3 models from Next Australia. Bubbles, canapés and chatter soon filled the venue. I am so filled with humbleness, happiness and determination after hearing all the amazing words and compliments. I was lucky enough to have been asked to attend this years Norwood Fashion and Design Market which is a part of the Adelaide Fashion Festival as an Emerging Designer. The Emerging Designer Hub was placed in the most prime position, right near the FREE fashion show. I am all about the presentation. A new series of fashion shows are being held in Adelaide by Boutique Series at Mercedes Benz to showcase Australian Clothes Designers. Dark Thorn Clothing got invited to put a dress into their most recent event, The Black Dress (I know, fitting right?).
